No Excuses

No Excuses (No excuses)Have you “squeezed” your workout in today?  I often hear people say, I don’t have enough time to workout, but is that really true?  Did you know that one hour is only 4% of your day?  So, I encourage you to stop and think about…and maybe even write down everything that you do during your day.  For instance, do you spend time on Facebook, watch TV, etc. – write it down.  Now, think about what your goals are (and not just workout goals, but family and life goals) and determine if how you are spending your time is getting you closer to where you want to be.  If your answer is “no,” then you may want to start making some changes.

Next, before you think that my life must not be as busy as yours, believe me when I say I know all about being busy!  I am a wife, mother (of 2 boys -ages 2 & 7 and a 16-year old exchange daughter), and a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in the schools…so, I know what it is like to be pulled in many different directions.  So, it’s your choice.  If you want to get in shape and/or improve your health, then you will need to make it a priority over some of the clutter that fills your day.  What are you going to choose? Make it a great day!
