Turkey Burgers

Turkey Burger

These turkey burgers are a great healthy choice. Not only are they tasty, but they are super easy to make...even easier if you hand them to your spouse to grill! :-) In all honestly, this is a recipe that I threw together with ingredients that I had on hand because I was trying to figure out what to do with the ground turkey that we'd purchased before it spoiled. So, when my 10-year-old took his first bite and exclaimed about how delicious they were, I knew I had a winner. Lastly, I chose to eat my burger without a bun (with just a little bit of Himalayan salt), but my family had them with buns...so, either way they taste great. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

These turkey burgers are easy to throw together for a quick 21 Day Fix approved protein. Makes 4 burgers.

Ingredients:

1 pkg. ground turkey (preferrably organic)

½ cups dice yellow onion

¼ cups parsley leaf flakes (or fresh, if you have on hand)

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions:

In a large bowl (and with clean hands), mix together ground turkey, onion, parsley, garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Form into four patties and grill over medium-high heat. When the burger no longer sticks to the grill, flip and continue cooking until cooked through.
