Black Beans & Rice

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup canned organic low-sodium black beans, drained
  • ¼ tsp. organic extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 dash organic ground chili powder
  • 1 pinch organic ground cumin
  • 1 tsp.*Bragg's Liquid Aminos or *Coconut Aminos
  • Himalayan salt (taste; optional)
  • ¾ cup cooked brown rice, hot

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix the beans, oil, chili powder, cumin, coriander, Aminos and salt (if desired).
  2. Heat for 1 – 2 minutes over medium-low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and gently fold in brown rice.
  4. Serve immediately.
